On a recent aimless scroll through Instagram, a pair of lips like no other popped off the screen and quickly caught my attention. Wanting to know more, I found out that these lips belonged to the eccentric and fabulous Make-Up Artist Ryan Kelly!
Now, what makes Ryan Kelly’s lips so special?
Well, it’s not so much her lips (even though, they do make a great canvas). It’s what she does with them that has now generated some buzz!
Meet Ryan Kelly:
Ryan Kelly is a wife, a Mother and a successful artist who lives in Maryland (United States).
Kelly uses her glamorous pout as a canvas for pop culture art! Some of her lip art classics include movies like Scream, Beetle Juice and the recent Netflix hit Birdbox.
Kelly also illustrates celebrities like Marilyn Monroe, Kim Kardashian, and her all-time favorite Jeff Goldblum!
Kelly’s popular following was largely influenced by a random event at the 2015 Superbowl where Katy Perry performed. It was one of Perrys back up dancers, however (who is known as Left Shark) who stole the show with some peculiar dance moves.
Kelly at the time posted a comical reference to this event on Instagram, that soon after went viral!

Fast forward a couple of years later, Kelly has made a name for herself by putting her talents where her mouth is!
While connecting with Kelly, I didn’t know whether to love or hate her because not only is she a boss at lip art, but she creates wearable art, she can belt out a tune Lady Gaga would be proud of…and she’s super nice!
You gotta love her!
