Jesus!
Jesus is arguably the most famous name in the entire world, it is this name that inspired the Christian faith and it is also the name that has brought forth violence and division among humankind throughout history.
Jesus is also known as Jesus of Nazareth, Jesus Christ, and our Lord Saviour.
The world celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ who was conceived by Mother Mary (known as the Virgin Mary) on December 25th known as Christmas. His crucifixion at the age of 33 is given our respects on Good Friday and his resurrection is honored on Easter on Sunday.
Records of Jesus Christ is spread throughout the sacred scriptures of the most famous book of all time…The Bible. Jesus is also known as the one and only true God to Christians and is the only way to eternal life in heaven.
Alternative Jesus Theories:
Some non-believers would say that the story of Jesus is simply a retelling of Egyptians Mythology where the son of God-Jesus is simply a representation of our sun.
Another theory is that the Bible is full of coded messages, metaphors and parables that are telling us secrets about the biology of the human body and that ” Jesus” is within and not without. (check out more in this revealing video by MrAstrotheology).
Whatever the name Jesus means to you this is not an article to divide us by our belief systems, as for one there has been enough of that already in the world, and two would Jesus really want such conflicts over his name?
Jesus may have been a living human being, he may have been a mythological character, he may also have been the main character in the storytelling of humans biology…and yet he may even be made up to divide and conquer by the powers that be.
No matter what the true meaning of Jesus is, the famous Jesus quotes below are ancient and powerful quotes we hope will inspire you over this Easter.
