We all have some embarrassing and funny moments in life, and some of them will happen at our workplace! While some of us spend the majority of our time at work, an embarrassing and funny situation is bound to happen, and it’s these stories that often make for some hilarious entertainment!
Forgetting such hilarious moments in life is not that easy. Especially when you have shared them with fellow colleagues, friends or they are immortalized on social media. (or a blog!) 😉

#1. The British Accent

I took a customer call at work that was asking to transfer the call to someone in the other team. As I was handling the work alone at that moment, I simply transferred the call and pretended to be someone else by just switching to a British Accent.
#2. The Drunk Guy On The D-Floor

Security Guard
I was working in security at a club when one drunk guy was playing up on the dance floor and he started laying on the ground. So I got some of the security boys to pick him up, and when they did one of his false legs fell off!
#3. Umm…That’s My Towel

Swimming Coach
I was working as a swimming coach at the time, and after my class, I went to the staff changing rooms and had a shower. When I got out of the shower I realized I didn’t bring a towel. Thinking no one was in the changing room, I quickly ran out of the shower naked, and grabbed a towel off the line. Another swimming coach walked in and she said: “ah are you using my towel?”.
I said: “no it was mine!”… but then she said: “no it’s mine, it’s got my name on it and I need it”. So I acted dumb and said I have one just like it.
#4. The Facebook Stalker

I was working as a receptionist at a beauty spa, and this hot guy walks in for his massage. After he goes into his appointment I started looking him up on facebook. Here I am stalking his hot topless facebook photos, and before I knew it he had come out of his appointment and he saw me scrolling through his profile as the computer screen was in his view.
I went bright red and I awkwardly processed his payment without addressing what he just caught me doing. I ended up charging him half price, but he never came back.
#5. The Puppy Identity Crisis

On a Friday afternoon, an elderly lady called the vets, and she was so excited that she had brought her husband an anniversary present. Her husband always wanted a Yorkshire terrier so she had brought him a puppy off the internet.
She was chatting on the phone for ages and wanted to know all the info about having a puppy for the first time. I offered her an appointment to see myself and discuss the information, vaccines, microchipping, etc and to do a health check for her.
Later that day she came in for her appointment as she had just collected the puppy from the seller.
She was so excited to show her puppy off and couldn’t wait to give her husband his anniversary present! Before we got the puppy out of the carrier we discussed home training, vaccines and just general info about having a new puppy.
She nor her husband had never had a dog before so she was so excited to become a dog owner and had many questions.
Once I discussed everything with her I was ready to do the health check on the puppy. I had noticed that the puppy was quiet in his carrier, but I put it down to being at the vet’s, and it was probably a bit nervous.
As I went to approach the door of the Carrier the puppy became very wriggly in all the blankets. I opened the blanket and there was a GUINEA PIG! I looked at the lady and she was smiling away and I thought this was a joke. But NO!
The elderly lady had purchased a guinea pig from the web and was scammed into thinking the guinea pig was a Yorkshire Terrier puppy. I told the lady a few times that it was a guinea pig and not a dog even though they have the same coloring.
At the end of the consultation, the lady left very confused and upset that she had paid for this guinea pig under the impression it was a dog for her husbands present. After all the sadness blew over she ended up keeping the Guinea pig and came in for regular check-ups to say hi.
#6. The Pizza Guy!

Pizza Delivery Man
When I was just 18 years old, I joined a part-time job to work as a pizza delivery guy in the city.
While being in the South, I observed that the city usually shuts down during the winter season due to snow or ice on the road. There was a little snowstorm in the area, I called out the office team and lied that I cannot drive on the snowy road.
Just a few minutes later, I was caught enjoying donuts in the parking lot at the same mall where pizza delivery was expected.

After giving sick leave at work, I went out to chill on the beach and saw one of my students over there. We nodded the moment we both realized that we were both skipping my very own class.

Health and safety training
I was in a health and safety work seminar which was meant to be quite serious. Bored out of my brain I started doing online shopping, but my supervisor caught me. Trying to quickly change tabs, I accidentally opened a porn tab, and instantly an explicit video appeared with the sound that the whole room could hear! Everyone turned around and looked at me; some even laughed but my supervisor was not impressed.
#9. The Boss Dodger

This one day at work, I was trying to dodge my boss as I knew he wanted to talk to me about a work issue that I was in the wrong for. I was at my reception desk, and I saw him walking towards me. So in a panic, I picked up the phone pretending to make a work call. He came over, and I pretended to talk to a customer and gave him gestures, implying I’ll catch up with him soon. Then before he left, the phone rang. Awkward AF!
#10. The Sleeping Yoga Instructor

This is a hilarious story of a gym instructor working onboard a cruise ship! As we all know the staff can work hard and party even harder. Well, this gym instructor had to take a yoga class the morning after a big night at the crew bar.
Hanging off his face he guides the class into a yoga pose called”the child’s pose” but instead of changing the pose a minute later he falls asleep during the relaxing pose and the participants blindly followed his lead without them knowing he was asleep until 20 minutes had passed! LOL!!!!
